Acorn and Pip is a kids concept store and online retailer based in Yorkshire, specialising in sustainable toys, clothes and gifts. When the venue launched its brand-new vegetarian food menu and expanded it’s already popular play area, we identified an opportunity to reposition the business from a shop to a destination, encouraging footfall from further afield and longer dwell time too.
I worked with Lucy, the store’s founder, to create a toolkit that she could use to reposition her business across multiple touch points, from the website and social media channels, to the in-store experience and the communications to customers buying online, who may not know that Acorn and Pip exists in bricks and mortar.
This was an exciting challenge and one that I’m enjoying watching unfold as Lucy puts the plan into action. Expanding Acorn and Pip’s audience whilst retaining the small community feel which she’s worked so hard to create was a tough one, but with some simple tips and tricks, we got there and the business is going from strength to strength.
